In the wake of September 11, Capt Mitch Nelson lead’s a U.S. special forces team in Afghanistan for an extremely dangerous mission.Once there, the soldier’s develop an uneasy partnership with the North alliance to take down the Taliban and its al-Qaeda allis.Outgunned and outnumbered, Nelson and his force’s face overwhelming odds in a fight a ruthless enemy that take no prisoners.

The book Horse soldiers was the inspiration for the movie. The Traverse City author wanted to tell the true story of these brave soldiers doing the right thing for the country and for the people that live in it.It’s a great book to read and if you’re not into reading you should go see the movie it’s better than watching any other war-based movie I’ve seen. The movie was to tell great things that happened in the past that “went down in history as great legend’s” as the author as the book would say.If you do like reading books and watching movies see what they might have changed from the book to the movie.
