Football trip to Sault leads to another loss

The Bulldogs played the Blue Devils on Friday the 12th in Sault Sainte Marie. The weather was not good, it was cold and raining. Their field was really sloppy when the team first showed up and it only got more slippery and muddy. Right away the Blue Devils scored on the Bulldogs and after that, the players didn’t look like they were giving it their all. At the end of the quarter, the score was 14-0. Bulldogs were having a hard time moving the ball.

Throughout the second quarter, the field was getting worse and the weather was going back and forth between snow, hail, and rain. The Bulldogs defense wasn’t really there at the time. The Blue devils scored a few more times in the quarter and they were winning 35-0 going into the half.

Starting the second half in the third quarter, the Bulldogs stepped up their defense and stopped the Blue Devils from scoring at all. All though they were playing better defense, they still couldn’t get their offense going. The score was still 35-0 Blue devils winning.

At the start of the 4th quarter, the Blue devils scored but missed their extra point attempt. The next drive the Bulldogs pushed the ball down the field and scored and the rest of the quarter was slipping and sliding and neither team could manage to score any more points. The final score of the game was 41-7 the Bulldogs lost their 8th straight game.
