The boys cross country team returned to the Michaywe Pines Golf Course in Gaylord this weekend to compete in the Regional meet.
Knowing that this could potentially be the final race of the season, the boys weren’t ready to lose their season.
Charlie Kennedy, Hunter Bishop, and Beau Vizina all set new personal records today at the meet.
“This team was young this year and they matured as the season went,” coach Brandon Beltz said. “It was fun to watch them take the leadership role and improve every meet.”
The team ended the season with a great meet and have much to look forward to next season.
“I am very excited to work with them in the offseason and help them prepare for next season,” Beltz said.
The boys team finished in fifth place with 148 points, and had their season come to an end.
“We didn’t do that good,” sophomore Will Jacobs said. “But the season went pretty good.”
